GMD's founder, Isaac Bracha is no stranger to the business world. Bracha is President and co-founder of Hair & Compounds, a successful manufacturer of top-quality hair extensions that has supplied hair for use in feature films and to renowned professional stylists since 1992.

After mastering the hair industry, Bracha was ready to take on his next business venture - Global Medical Directory (GMD). GMD was developed as a portal of open communication for the plastic and cosmetic surgery industry through knowledge and commerce.

The site contains two platforms; a consumer platform and a professional platform. On the consumer platform, prospective plastic surgery clients are able to conduct research on procedures, benefits, and possible risks, while gaining access to a global database of physicians. On the professional platform, surgeons are able to share their medical excellence, monitor their worldwide reputation, network with others, and promote their business.
